Mate 8. I rebooted my phone. Before I rebooted I had phone finder on.As I rebooted the phone asked me for my Hauwei ID and password. I entered them and was told wrong ID. I am now trying to completely wipe the phone so it is like a complete new phone. Any suggestions?

Try to hard reset first, if this does not work make sure your bootloader device is unlocked. Last, reflashing the original firmware for the device.
