How to enter Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace SM-J110F Recovery Mode, Hard reset / Wipe, Download Mode / Odin Mode and Pattern Unlock.

Recovery Mode Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace SM-J110F

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume UP key + Home Key, while pressing these keys then press and hold Power key for a while
  3. Release all key when Android or Samsung logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
  4. Use Volume keys to select Menu
  5. Use Power key to Confirm

Download Mode or ODIN Mode

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Down key + Home Key, while pressing these keys then press and hold Power key for a while
  3. Release all key when you see ODIN Mode / Download Mode
  4. Use Volume Up key to continue
  5. Use Volume Down key to cancel ( Restart the device )

Hard reset Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace SM-J110F using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

  1. In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset
  2. press Power key to confirm
  3. select Yes — delete all user data, press power key to confirm
  4. select Reboot system now to finish hard reset

Hard reset using Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Backup and reset
  5. Select Factory data reset
  6. Select Reset device
  7. Select Erase Everything
  8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.  If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

  1. Adrian same problem here.. looping on ODIN Mode (Multi Core Download) cant go boot to DOwnload mode.. even I’ve tried press and hold Volume up key + Home key + Power Key.. 🙁

    • To enter download mode: turn off your device, press and hold Volume Down + Home key while pressing these keys press and hold power key and then release all key when you see odin mode / download mode

  2. Thanks Guys, I have exactly the same problem of ODIN MODE (Multi core Download) and nothing is changing after having done all that is said.I did approached Samsung Technicians in Century City and not much help was offered please help.
