How to enter Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Recovery Mode, Hard reset / Wipe, Download Mode and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern.

Recovery Mode Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume UP key + Home Key, while pressing these keys then press and hold Power key for a while
  3. Release all key when Android or Samsung logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
  4. Use Volume keys to select Menu
  5. Use Power key to Confirm

Download Mode or ODIN Mode

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Down key + Home Key, while pressing these keys then press and hold Power key for a while
  3. Release all key when you see ODIN Mode / Download Mode
  4. Use Volume Up key to continue
  5. Use Volume Down key to cancel ( Restart the device )

Hard reset Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

  1. In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset
  2. press Power key to confirm
  3. select Yes — delete all user data, press power key to confirm
  4. select Reboot system now to finish hard reset

Hard reset using Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Backup and reset
  5. Select Factory data reset
  6. Select Reset device
  7. Select Erase Everything
  8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.  If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

  1. i did factory reset to my samsung j1 mini. without knowing that i have to enter the last gmail account used on phone before i did reset i have not been able to recover or obtain that information .. what can i do apart from contacting the person who sold ph to my son

  2. me2 I also hv the same problem,wt cn I do the access the j1 mini without knowing the last email for the person who sold the phone to me?
