How to Update Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on Samsung Galaxy J7 SM-J700F :

  1. Extract (unzip) the firmware file. Download at https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-J700F/.
  2. If it does not work try to download it from updato.com with unlimited speed and no need registered.
  3. Download Odin v3.09
  4. Extract Odin ZIP file
  5. Open Odin v.3.09
  6. Reboot Phone in Download Mode ( Turn Power off the phone, Press and hold Volume Down key and Home key, While pressing these keys press and hold Power key, Release all key when Download Mode / Odin Mode appears )
  7. Connect the phone to PC with USB Cable Data, then Press and release Volume Up key
  8. Wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
  9. Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
  10. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
  11. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
