How to enter Xiaomi Redmi Pro Recovery Mode, Hard reset (Wipe), Fastboot Mode, Bootloader mode and pattern lock recovery.

Recovery Mode Xiaomi Redmi Pro

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Up key + Power Key about 10 seconds
  3. Release all key when Mi logo appears
  4. Now you should in the Recovery mode menu

Fastboot Mode and Bootloader mode

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds
  3. Release all key when Bootloader mode appears
  4. Use Volume Down key to select Fastboot and Volume Up key to confirm

Hard reset Xiaomi Redmi Pro using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Up key + Power Key about 10 seconds
  3. Release all key when Mi logo appears
  4. Select English using Volume keys and press Power key to confirm
  5. Select Wipe Reset using Volume down key and press power key to confirm
  6. Select Wipe All Data using Volume keys and press Power key to confirm
  7. Select Yes and press power key to confirm.

Hard reset using Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Backup and reset
  5. Select Factory data reset
  6. Select Reset device
  7. Select Erase Everything
  8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

  1. I have a Xiaomi Redmi Pro with reboot problem, so I can’t use the Settings menu for Factory Reset.
    I need to get to Recovery Mode or Bootloader Menu, BUT the instructions here don’t work for me.
    Instead of Recovery Mode, I get a picture of a phone + usb connector…
    And instead of Bootloader, I get Fastboot.
    I can’t use either of these screens to wipe my data for a Factory Reset.
    Please help.

    • Because you have old version of MIUI. To access this recovery mode you must update your MIUI to the latest version, but it was too late, because you can not enter the system normally. If you can access your system normally, updating the MIUI, then you will have the recovery mode.
