Honestly I used these instructions and identical instructions from other websites but it didnt work. I had a screen code I forgot, I can barely use facebook but I tried power key amd volume down buttons pressed together and the recovery menu appeared. I was scared out of my mind when the phone was resetting cuz I dont know what its supposed to look like. It worked for me, try it!

I switched it off…waited 10-15 seconds. Then tried power and volume up. It vibrated once followed by 3 virations. Then I released the buttons and tried power and volume down and the reset menu appeared and I chose factory reset using the volume buttons. It took 2-4 minutes. And my phone was back! I havent been able to use it in a month. I didnt wana pay someone to reset it for me when I have google!
