Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Hard Reset

How to hard reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and enter Recovery Mode, Fastboot Mode, Bootloader mode, Soft reset. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys and from Settings menu. Make sure to backup your important data, the data can not be recovered.

Mi-Recovery Mode Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Up key + Power Key
  3. Release Power key when logo appears but keep pressing Volume Up key
  4. Release Volume Up key when Mi-Recovery Appears
  5. Use Volume keys to select and Power key to confirm

Fastboot Mode

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds
  3. Release all key when Fastboot Mode appears

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

How to Hard reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Up key + Power Key
  3. Release Power key when logo appears but keep pressing Volume Up key
  4. Release Volume Up key when Mi-Recovery Appears
  5. Use Volume keys to select and Power key to confirm
  6. Select Wipe Data and press power key to confirm
  7. Select wipe all data and press power key to confirm
  8. Select Confirm press power key to confirm
  9. Select “back to main menu” by press power key
  10. Select Reboot and press power key to confirm
  11. Select Reboot to System and press power key to confirm
  12. Done!

Soft reset using Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Additional settings
  5. Select Backup and reset
  6. Select Factory data reset
  7. Select Reset phone wait 10 seconds
  8. Select Next wait 10 seconds
  9. Select OK

If you can not enter Android system normally, you can reset it to factory default ( factory reset ) setting via hardware keys ( hard reset ). If you perform a hard reset, you can not backup your data.
