  1. Your phone must be Installed OrangeFox Recovery. If not, you can read How to Install TWRP 3.6.0 for Redmi Note 9 Pro curtana, excalibur, gram and joyeuse
  2. Download CipherOS-2.1-SHADE-cipher_miatoll-20211213-0830-UNOFFICIAL-VANILLA.zip
  3. Download Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip
  4. Download GCAM 8.3 MOD for Xiaomi Phone
  5. Download Magisk: Magisk-v23.0.apk or latest, rename it to Magisk-v23.0.zip ( if necessary )
  6. Copy the files to SD Card ( Recommended )

Install Instructions: CipherOS 2.1 for Redmi Note 9 Pro

  • Enter TWRP recovery: Turn power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Redmi logo appears release all keys
  • Select Wipe – Advanced ( Dalvik, Cache, Data ), Swipe to wipe
  • Select Install – select CipherOS-2.1-SHADE-cipher_miatoll-20211213-0830-UNOFFICIAL-VANILLA.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Install – select Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
  • Select Reboot – System

Root Instructions if necessary

  • Enter TWRP recovery: Turn power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Redmi logo appears release all keys
  • Select Install – select Magisk-v23.0.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Reboot – System
  • Connect Phone to Internet
  • Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
