How to Flash TWRP 3.6.2 12-0 for Poco X3 NFC ( Surya ). Also Rooting and Flashing ROM Update: 12/12/’21

Download: TWRP 3.6.2 12-0 for Poco X3 NFC

  1. The bootloader must be unlocked, If not watch this video https://youtu.be/H_gNrIWftIU
  2. Download TWRP: twrp-3.6.2_12-0-surya.img copy to your adb folder to make it easy and I renamed it to twrp362surya.img
  3. Download Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip
  4. Download Magisk: Magisk-v23.0.apk or latest, rename it to Magisk-v23.0.zip, you can copy it to external recommended. You need install magisk to make TWRP installed permanently on your phone.

Install Instructions: TWRP 3.6.2 12-0 for Poco X3 NFC

In Stock ROM

  1. Make sure the bootloader unlocked
  2. Enable USB Debugging in Developer Options
  3. Enter Fastboot Mode: Turn power off, Press and hold Volume Down + Power key until Fastboot mode appears
  4. Open CMD command, run as Administrator
  5. enter adb folder ( cd adb folder )
  6. Connect phone to computer
  7. type “fastboot flash recovery twrp362surya.img”
  8. Disconnect Phone from computer
  9. Enter TWRP Recovery first time: Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
  10. Install Magisk-v23.0.zip or latest ( to make TWRP permanent )
  11. Select Reboot – System
  12. Done

In Custom ROM

  1. Enter Fastboot Mode: Turn power off, Press and hold Volume Down + Power key until Fastboot mode appears
  2. Open CMD command, run as Administrator
  3. enter adb folder ( cd adb folder )
  4. Connect phone to computer
  5. type “fastboot flash recovery twrp362surya.img”
  6. Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
  7. Install Magisk-v23.0.zip or latest ( to make TWRP permanent )
  8. Select Reboot – System
  9. Done

How to flash rom using TWRP 3.6.0

  • Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
  • Select Wipe – Advanced ( Dalvik, Cache, Data ), Swipe to wipe
  • Select Install – select syberia_surya-v5.0-20211209-1452-UNOFFICIAL.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
  • Select Reboot – System

Root Instructions if necessary

  • Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
  • Select Install – select Magisk-v23.0.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Reboot – System
  • Connect Phone to Internet
  • Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
  • Done

Enter TWRP Recovery

You can enter TWRP recovery with 2 methods: via adb command by type “adb reboot recovery” and by pressing keys combinations ( Turn power off, press and hold volume up + Power key, when POCO logo appears release power key, keep pressing volume until TWRP recovery appears )
