HTC U12 life Hard reset

How to hard reset HTC U12 life and enter Recovery Mode, Download Mode, BootLoader mode, FastBoot Mode, Soft reset and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys and from Settings menu. make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.

Recovery Mode HTC U12 life, Download Mode and BootLoader Mode

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds
3. Release Power key when HTC logo appears on the screen but keep pressing Volume Down key
4. Release Volume Down key when Download Mode appears on the screen
5. Select “Reboot to Bootloader” and select “Boot to Recovery Mode”
6. If the warning phone image appears on the screen, press Volume Up key and Power key.
7. Now you are in Android System Recovery mode
8. Use Volume key to scroll and Power key to confirm

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

Hard reset HTC U12 life using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
2. Press Power key to confirm
3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
4. Press power key to confirm
5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
6. Press power key to confirm

Soft reset HTC U12 life using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Reset phone
6. Select Erase all data
7. Select Ok

All this method also we called Factory Reset, It will reset all settings to default factory settings.
