Samsung Galaxy A20 Hard reset

How to hard reset Samsung Galaxy A20 and enter Recovery Mode, Soft reset, Download Mode and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys ( hard reset ) and from Settings menu ( soft reset ). Make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.

Samsung Galaxy A20 Recovery Mode

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key for a while
  3. Release all key when Android or Samsung logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
  4. Use Volume keys to select Menu
  5. Use Power key to Confirm

Samsung Galaxy A20 Download Mode or ODIN Mode

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key for a while
  3. Release all key when Android or Samsung logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
  4. Select Reboot to Bootloader
  5. Use Power key to Confirm

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.

Hard reset Samsung Galaxy A20 using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

  1. In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
  2. Press Power key to confirm
  3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
  4. Press power key to confirm
  5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
  6. Press power key to confirm

Soft reset from Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select General Management
  5. Select Reset
  6. Select Factory data reset
  7. Select Reset

If you can not enter Android system normally, you can reset it to factory default ( factory reset ) setting via hardware keys ( hard reset ). If you perform a hard reset, you can not backup your data.
