How to Install AOSP 10.0 v217 Phh Treble ROM on Samsung Galaxy M30s. It comes with basic feature only, without supported by vendor. Like we installed Windows OS without hardware drivers. AOSP 10.0 Phh Treble ROM is developed by @phhusson XDA – Member. This ROM tested on Samsung Galaxy M30s with Android 10 stock ROM. Your phone must be installed TWRP Recovery. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
Require Tools:
- Your phone must be Installed TWRP Recovery for Android 10. If not, you can read How to Flash TWRP on Samsung Galaxy M30s SM-M307F Android 10 Q.
- Download AOSP 10.0 v217 ( system-quack-arm64-ab-gapps.img.xz ) included GAPPS
- Extract It, flash system-quack-arm64-ab-gapps.img
- Download Latest Magisk Manager ( MagiskManager-v7.5.1.apk )
How to Install AOSP 10.0 Phh Treble Rom on Samsung Galaxy M30s :
- Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn power off; Press and hold Volume Up key + Power key, when samsung logo appears release power key only, keep pressing volume up until TWRP recovery appears
- Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
- Connect the phone to PC
- Copy AOSP imager ( system-quack-arm64-ab-gapps.img ) and Magisk Manager apk from PC to Phone
- Select Install – Install Image – select system-quack-arm64-ab-gapps.img – thick “System Image” and Confirm to flash
- Select Reboot – Recovery ( Boot system with Magisk )
- Setup the Phone
- Connect the phone to Internet
- Install Magisk Manager, it will reboot after some additional setup
- Done!
This release uses new gapps, so please beware that some things could be broken.
Add “disable A2DP offload” workaround in Treble Settings- Enable Xiaomi options on Redmi devices (Redmi Note 9S)
- Fix Bluetooth on Redmi Note 9S, fingerprint-as-enter, and broken audio
- Re-enable Gapps on 32bits targets
- Enable Android Go gapps on all targets
- Fix optical under-display fingerprint on Samsung devices (Galaxy A51, Galaxy A50, …)
- Add an option to expose all cameras on Samsung devices
- Improve under-display fingerprint for Xiaomi devices running MIUI 12 vendor
Treble Settings’ securize option now works on Magisk- Add an option to remove telephony service for WiFi-only devices
- Add a workaround in Treble Settings for a bug on some devices where video recording is broken after some uptime
If you want to uninstall this custom ROM and back to stock ROM, just flash the stock ROM to your device. Flashing stock ROM will also uninstall TWRP Recovery and it will back to stock Android Recovery.
Notes / Warning!
- Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
- Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
- If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
- If you have a KNOX-enabled device, flash custom rom and Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status!
- If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
- If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
- Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
