How to Install Havoc-OS 3.11 Android 10 on Samsung Galaxy A30. Havoc-OS 3.11 is based on AOSP, inspired by Google Pixel and brought to you by diust@sourceforge.net. Havoc-OS v3.11 comes with ROM OS Android 10 Q offers more features, light and FingerPrint worked. It does not support voLTE. This ROM Required: Installed TWRP Recovery. Version Information Status: Stable GSI ROM HavocOS_3.11_Unofficial_arm64-ab_gapps ( ARM64-AB ). Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.

Download

  1. Your phone must be Installed TWRP Recovery for Android 10. If not, you can read How to Flash TWRP and Root Samsung Galaxy A30 Android 10 Q.
  2. Download HavocOS_3.11_Unofficial_arm64-ab_gapps.img.xz ( extract it to get img file, use 7-zip )
  3. Download latest Open GAPPS: Platform=ARM64, Android=10, Variant=nano ( if necessary )
  4. Copy ROM and GApps to SD Card ( Recommended )

Notes:

Some Custom ROM does not need installed custom kernel. If you faced boot loop on Samsung Galaxy logo, it may be you need to flash the custom kernel. ( Lineage / Havoc does need custom kernel, Resurrection Remix / Evolution X needs installed custom kernel )

How to Install Havoc-OS v3.11 on Samsung Galaxy A30:

  1. Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn power off; Press and hold Volume Up key + Power key, when samsung logo appears release power key only, keep pressing volume up until TWRP recovery appears
  2. Select Wipe – Format data ( type “yes” and confirm )
  3. Select Wipe – Advanced wipe ( select “Dalvik, Cache, System” ) – Swipe to wipe
  4. Copy image file to phone, ignore this if you have copied to SD card
  5. Select Install ( If image file in SD Card: Select Storage – Micro SD card – OK ) – Install Image – select HavocOS_3.11_Unofficial_arm64-ab_gapps.img – select “System Image” and Swipe to confirm flash
  6. Select Reboot – System
  7. Setup the Phone

Install GApps if necessary

  • Enter TWRP Recovery
  • Select Wipe – Advanced Wipe ( select “System” ) – Repair or Change File System – Resize File System – Swipe to Resize
  • Select Mount – ( select “System, Vendor” ), Back to home
  • Select Install ( If file in SD Card: Select Storage – Micro SD card – OK ) – select open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-xxxxxxxx.zip Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Reboot – System

Rooting if necessary

  • Enter TWRP Recovery
  • Select Install ( If file in SD Card: Select Storage – Micro SD card – OK ) – select Magisk-v20.4.zip/Magisk-v21.0.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  • Select Reboot – System
  • Connect the phone to Internet
  • Open Magisk Manager
  • Done!

MTP

  • Enter TWRP Recovery
  • Select Install ( If image file in SD Card: Select Storage – Micro SD card – OK ) – Install Image – select Kintsugi-GSI#1.1.6.img – select “Boot” and Swipe to confirm flash
  • Reboot to System

If you want to uninstall this custom ROM and back to stock ROM, just flash the stock ROM to your device. Flashing stock ROM will also uninstall TWRP Recovery and it will back to stock Android Recovery.

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, flash custom rom and Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status!
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
