TWRP 3.6.1+Root Samsung Galaxy A50s SM-A507FN Android 11-OneUI in 2022

How to flash TWRP 3.6.1 and Root Samsung Galaxy A50s SM-A507FN – Android 11. No need reboot recovery for rooting and Restarting phone will not lose rooting. It works for Android 11 firmware Galaxy A50s. It’s only tested on Galaxy A50s SM-A507FN model. Combined by redymedan@XDA, Credits to hendramanudinata03@XDA ( TWRP 3.5.1 ) and TenSeventy7@XDA ( Mint Kernel ). Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device! Read Notes! Follow the instructions carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!

Flash Instructions: TWRP 3.6.1 for Samsung Galaxy A50s

    1. Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out
    2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
    3. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
    4. Flashing TWRP-3.6.1_A50s_A11_androidhowto@youtube.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
    5. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Don’t remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key, when yellow tri-angel appears release power key only, keep pressing volume up until TWRP Recovery Mode appears
    6. Copy to phone, ignore this if you copied to SD Card
    7. Select Install – select Swipe to confirm Flash
    8. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
    9. Select Reboot to System
    10. Done

Rooting if necessary

  • Connect Phone to Internet
  • Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
  • Done

Watch This Video!

If something goes wrong and you want to unroot it, just flash the ROM to make it works again. Read How to flash Galaxy A50s.

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. The flashable TWRP is only for Android 11 OneUI
  3. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  4. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  5. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
  6. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  7. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  8. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
