How to Root Samsung Galaxy A52 via OrangeFox R11 Recovery. How to Fix SafetyNet API Error and Bypass SafetyNet. Download and Terms

  1. The phone must be installed OrangeFox Recovery, if not read How to Install OrangeFox Recovery R11 on Samsung Galaxy A52
  2. Download MagiskFix to fix SafetyNet Api Error: app-debug.apk ( Canary release ), follow instruction below how to fix SafetyNet API Error
  3. Download Universal SafetyNet fix: safetynet-fix-v1.1.1.zip
  4. Copy the files to SD Card copy from system before enter Recovery ( MTP does not work in OrangeFox )

Rooting Instructions

  1. Enter OrangeFox Recovery: Turn Power Off, connect the phone to USB Cable, quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key until red text warning “This phone is not running Samsung’s official software…” disappears. Then release all keys. It will take more time than usual until OrangeFox recovery appears.
  2. Select Files – select Magisk-v21.2.zip, Swipe to Install
  3. Select Reboot to System
  4. Connect phone to internet
  5. Open Magisk
  6. Done!

Fix SafetyNet API Error and Bypass SafetyNet

  1. Install app-debug.apk ( canary release )
  2. Select Settings – Change Update Channel to Canary
  3. Update Magisk App
  4. Install safetynet-fix-v1.1.1.zip
  5. Reboot from magisk
  6. Open Magisk – Settings
  7. Enable MagiskHide option
  8. Done

If you want to uninstall custom recovery and back to stock ROM, just flash the stock ROM to your device. Flashing stock ROM will also uninstall custom Recovery and it will back to stock Android Recovery.

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, flash custom rom and Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status!
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
